Under 12's:
On Saturday 21st August, the Under 12 hurlers had their first competitive game when they took part in the U/12 Hurling Blitz in Buncrana. They lost their first game to Burt, drew with St Eunan’s and won their match against Buncrana. All players showed great skill in all games. Team: Sinead McGonagle, Paul McCarroll, Caoimhin Fogarty, Gemma Fullerton, Shane Doherty (B), Shaun McDaid, Dermot McGonagle, Siofra Fogarty, Conor McCormick, Fionn McLaughlin, Dylan Donaghey, Toni McCormick, Laura O’Donnell, and Pádraig Doherty.

Under 12 Hurling/Camogie training every Wednesday @ 6:30pm in O’Doherty Park.

The U/12 hurlers continue to play in the Saturday blitz. Last Saturday (4th September) they travelled to O’Donnell Park and played St Eunan’s, Ballyshannon and Setanta. They came away with a win, a draw and a defeat. Many will say it was two wins and one defeat. There is no doubt they are improving with every game. The U/12 panel is Darragh Canny, Conor McElhinney, Shane Doherty (B), Shaun McDaid, Dermot McGonagle, Éanna Newton, Paul McCarroll, Fionn McLaughlin, Conor McCormick, Ryan McLaughlin, Pádráig Doherty, Toni McCormick, Shane Sperrin, Dylan Donaghy, Demi Walker, Caoimhin Fogarty. Siofra Fogarty, Sinead McGonagle, Laura O’Donnell and Demi Walker. Well done to all the panel and especially those boys who had earlier played in the U/13 Football game in Lifford.

Under 14's:
On Sunday 22nd August, the Under 14 hurlers played St Eunan’s in the county semi-final. Played in pouring rain both teams gave a great display of skill, despite the weather conditions. At the end of normal time the final score was Carn 3-1 St Eunan’s 2-4. Ten minutes of extra time was played but neither team scored and the rain continued to pour. A replay will take place at a neutral venue with the winners playing Buncrana in the Final. Team: Pádraig Doherty, Christy McElhinney, Emmet Lafferty, Éanna Newton, Conor McLaughlin, Ryan McCormick, Paul McCarroll, Shaun Doherty (O), Karl Diver, Conor Doherty, Andrew Doherty, Aisling Newton, Laura Davenport, Jamie McLaughlin, Deirdre Foley. Subs Shane Doherty (B), Jamie Carr. Shane Doherty (G), Sinead Burke, and Caroline Kelly

The U/14 hurlers lost to St Eunan’s in the replay of the semi-final. Midfielder Shaun Doherty (O) got injured after 15minutes of the game. This was a big blow as Shaun had played a major part in the drawn game and as a result Carn were chasing the game from then on. On Sunday morning last they took part in a U/14 Blitz in Derry were eight teams are taking part from Derry, Tyrone and Donegal . The blitz is played as conditioned games and the boys played very well under the new rules. Sunday 19th September is the next blitz.

Under 16's:
On Sunday 22nd August, the Under 16 hurlers had their first game of the season against Four Masters. Playing without a number of regulars due the U/14’s having a game in the evening they were defeated by 3-7 to 3-0.

The U/16 hurlers had a narrow defeat losing to Buncrana, 2-08 to 3-07, last Thursday night 2nd September, but they showed great strength and no doubt with more games will improve. They play Burt this Thursday evening away. All players to be at O’Doherty Park at 5.45pm

Sunday 14th November: Under 16 Division 2 Final, The Carn under 16 hurlers, avenging an earlier defeat in the league, won the u/16 B county final against Buncrana on the Sunday 14th November in Muff. Final score Carn 3-06 Buncrana 2-04. This is the first hurling title for the club since 2000. Great credit is due to manager Joey Lafferty.

Seventy one boys and girls took part this year which was co-ordinated by county coach Paul Callaghan, assisted by Sean Mellon Na Magha, county hurlers Kevin Campbell, Michael McGrath, Joe Boyle and club camogie players Aisling Newton and Jamie Carr
