 Carndonagh 1-12 Urris 1-03
A good start to the league, Carn dominated most of the match giving away very little in defence but wasteful in attack during the firat half. The teams reached halftime with Carn leading bt 1-04 to 1-01, having kicked a number of silly wides and shots dropping into the keeper's hands. The second half was much better with some excellent performances in attack, particularly Kevin Doherty(L) as Carn were more clinical. Everyone played including the subs who came on, special mention to Darragh McLaughlin, Michael McCallion, Cathal O'Kane, Tiarnan Coyne, Dermot Simpson, Kevin Doherty(L) and Garvan McGrenra.
