Malin showed much greater levels of fitness and were deserving winners. There were some good performances on the Carndonagh team but a big improvement is needed.

A lack of fitness showed towards the end but this game could have and should have been won by Carndonagh, a missed penalty and bad misses when players were one-on-one with the keeper were very costly. Though credit should go to the Malin keeper who made a number of fine saves
