Carndonagh 0-16 Bundoran 1-09
This was one of Carn's best performances this season, apart from the first 10 minutes when Bundoran took advantage of some mistakes, Carn were on top and played some great attacking football. The ball was moved forward at speed and there were some fantastic scores taken. This victory was built on a solid defence, the slippery conditions didn't suit defenders but Carn coped the better and the ball was moved out well with the forwards benefiting from the better quality service, the Carn forward line were continually able to turn their men and take their scores. Every Carn player displayed a great desire to contest and be first to the ball. However Carn didn't have it all their own way. After a dodgy start during which Bundoran ran through Carn, scoring with ease, Carn began to get on top. At the back, Des Newton read the ball into the Bundoran forward line, clearing up and then launching another Carn attack. The Carn forwards were alert and running onto the ball and then passing as teammates made supporting runs. Michael O'Donnell, Niall McLaughlin and Gerard Crossan leading the way. Bundoran were a little shell-shocked and made numerous switches coming to halftime in an attempt to stem the tide. Carn reached half-time 0-09 to 1-05 ahead. Carn started the second half well and forced Bundoran back. Bundoran were forced to kick long ball out of the defence, which was being picked up by the Carn half back line each time and Carndonagh would go back forward in search of a score. More changes by Bundoran brought a slight improvement, as they once more attempted to run at the Carn back line, but Carn defended well, closing off the space and forcing Bundoran to run into corners. Bundoran got back to 4 points of Carn and then 3, a goal was all that stood between the two teams. However Carn came back again and with 5 minutes remaining they had a 5-point lead once more. One goal line scare apart Carn held out to record a good victory. Best for Carndonagh were Des Newton, Shane Kelly, Kevin Doherty (T), Michael O'Donnell, Niall McLaughlin and Gerard Crossan.

Division 3 Reserve |
Carndonagh 2-09 Bundoran 2-09
This was a fine performance from a young Carn team, which was not as physically strong as their Bundoran opponents. They quite often outplayed them going forward and can consider themselves unlucky not to have won since they hit the post 4 times at least and Daniel McLaughlin had an effort which cracked the crossbar. Best for Carn were Martin Mooney, Daniel McLaughlin, Matthew McCrossan and Dermot Skinnader. The Club would like to wish a speedy recovery to Pat Doherty (O) who had to leave the pitch through injury.
