Bundoran 3-10 Carndonagh 1-11

While the result may have been disappointing after the long trip down, it was a good performance by the team as a whole and the difference in the end was two very fortunate goals. If the shooting had been a little better then the end result could have been very different. The Seniors now have five games remaining in the league and it is important that we begin again to put points on the board and on the scoreboard to safeguard Division 3 football next year. Best for Carn were Shane Kelly, Gerard Doherty, Kevin Doherty and Keith Doherty.

Bundoran 1-06 Carndonagh 0-10

This was an excellent result for the Reserves and a great fighting performance, never giving up to the end. Bundoran made a good start running at the Carn defence but some good last ditch defending kept the Bundoran forwards from scoring. Carn, however, took what chances came their way and were well in control after 20 minutes of the first half. The running Bundoran forwards were still causing lots of problems and one break through the centre resulted in a Bundoran midfielder walking through for a goal. At halftime the score was Carn 0-04 Bundoran 1-02. A good defensive display in the second half kept Bundoran at bay and the forwards put over some impressive scores. An impressive display, best for Carn were Paul Lafferty, John Taitt, Daniel McLaughlin, Joe Lafferty, Sean McLaughlin, Paddy Doherty and Cormac Skinnader.
