Letterkenny Gaels 0-02 Carndonagh 5-20
This game was postponed from Saturday evening due to a waterlogged pitch. The Pitch didn't improve much but the game went ahead on Sunday. Carndonagh dominated throughout with some fine scores taken by Philip O'Donnell, Martin Mooney, Daniel McLaughlin, Barry McElhinney, Dermot Skinnader and Ross McGuinness but the highlight was a very fine goal by Cathal Doherty, struck with the outside of his right foot into the top left corner of the goal. A good team performance, which will have to be matched and bettered in the next game in the Championship.
