Carndonagh 0-06 Naomh Ultan (Dunkineely) 0-08
In a match dominated by Carndonagh, but whose forwards couldn't score, Naomh Ultan won by two points. After an entertaining first half in which Carndonagh missed three open goal opportunities, the score was Carndonagh 0-04 to 0-03. In the second half the scoring ability of Conor Ward of Naomh Ultan proved the decisive factor between the teams. Best for Carn were Michael McLaughlin, Darragh Glackin and Michael O'Donnell.

Carndonagh 3-08 Naomh Ultan (Dunkineely) 1-04
This was a tight but exciting game but for bad shooting Carndonagh could have won by more. A number of bad misses meant that at halftime the score was 1-04 to 0-03 in favour of Carndonagh. The introduction of Donnacha Gallagher in the second half helped Carndonagh settle down with a well-taken goal and three points from frees. Carndonagh took their scores with a well-taken goal and completed the scoring with a goal that was finished ala Roy Keane by John Ward that deflecting off a Naomh Ultan defender back into the goal. With more training this Carndonagh team has great potential for further progress in this competition. Best for Carndonagh were Anthony McLaughlin, Philip McLaughlin, John Ward, Patrick Doherty and Donnacha Gallagher.
